Youngstown business owners give back by empowering other women

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – “When you are elevating women you are elevating a community,” said Eartha Terrell.

Two women are making a difference in Youngstown by empowering others.

“We came together because we thought that the community, more women needed to have more professional and career oriented resources,” Terrell said.

“We wanted women to realize how powerful we could be when we network with each other,” Bradley said.

The events they throw are meant to help women with all types of things from mental health issues to confidence as well as relationships and careers.

“This is something that I wish I would have had growing up… Realizing how much power we have in the community because it’s not really recognized,” Bradley said.

Bradley owns a women’s clothing store in Boardman called B’s Boutique and Terrell owns a copyright business called M.E. Creative.

Their events are not limited to women, some include men. But the focus is to empower women to be great.

“Moving forward our events will still be catered to women. Allowing them a safe space to talk about these everyday issues,” Terrell said.

Their next event, the Graceful Grind will be June 2 at the Doubletree downtown.
